Så er vinderen af fotokonkurrencen fundet. Thorbjørn Hansen, der er Engholmenes faste fotograf og stifter og ejer af Kontraframe, har kigget billederne igennem, og i et tæt felt trak Jonathan-Raphael Reichert det længste strå.

Engholmene gemmer på mange skjulte skatte, men hvad er egentlig dit yndlingsspot? Det spørgsmål stillede vi Engholmenes beboere. Alt, de skulle gøre, var at tage et billede af deres yndlingsspot og sende billedet ind til os. Her ville Engholmenes faste fotograf, Thorbjørn Hansen, kigge billederne igennem og finde det bedste billede.

Den dygtige vinder er nu fundet, og det blev Jonathan-Raphael Reichert som løb afsted med de fire biografbilletter. Han havde taget et billede af solen, der prøver at bryde igennem, hvilket er hans absolutte yndlingsudsigt på Engolmene.

Der var blevet sendt mange flotte og velfotograferede billeder ind til fotokonkurrencen, men Thorbjørn Hansen var ikke i tvivl om, at Jonathan-Raphael Reicherts billede var det bedste. Han fremhæver særligt den fine ro og mystik, der er på billedet.

”Med billedet af solen, der prøver at bryde igennem morgendisen over Islands Brygge, var jeg ikke i tvivl om vinderen. Det rammer en særlig nerve for mig, når jeg ser billeder. Billedet har en fin ro og mystik over sig. Selvom det viser en del af alt det nye, der er skudt frem, ses enkelte elementer over disen, der kan virke som en lille flig af fortidens industrihavn. Det hele svæver, og jeg får umådelig lyst til at have været der og fornemmet lys, kold morgenluft iblandet solstrejf og duft af saltvand. Derudover er der fin komposition og en fin tone og kontrast,” fortæller Thorbjørn Hansen.

Mange flotte og velfotograferede billeder

Foruden vinderbilledet var der blevet sendt adskillige andre, fine motiver ind til fotokonkurrencen. Der har generelt været et højt niveau blandt de indsendte billede. Derfor har Engholmene besluttet at uddele to biografbilletter til både 2. og 3. pladsen. Thorbjørn Hansen har nedenfor sat et par ord på de to billeder.

”Billedet er taget indefra Myrholms gårdhave, og med den smukke, gamle tremaster fanger det et fint aftenlys, der helt hensætter én til sydlige himmelstrøg. Det er summen af elementerne med lyse facader, lav beplantning, hvide, lave bygninger i horisonten og det gamle skib, der giver denne oplevelse,” fortæller Thorbjørn Hansen.

”Billedet indefra Lyngholms gårdhave rammer den fornemmelse, jeg forestiller mig, der kan være, når mennesker som nogen af de første flytter ind i nybyggeri. Den skønne overvældelse, når en ny udsigt og smukt lys blandes med alt det nye og forventningerne, der venter én. Lyset minder om det på vinderbilledet, men fordi vi ser en kurv i forgrunden og andre tydelige elementer fra hverdagen, har det et meget mere realistisk udtryk, som giver en helt anden historie til beskueren,” fortæller Thorbjørn Hansen.

Lørdag den 12. Oktober er der Copenhagen Harbour Race

På lørdag vil der være mulighed for at se en masse både i havnen, når der afholdes det årlige Copenhagen Harbour Race i havnen omkring Enghavebrygge. Det er det løb i Danmark, hvor der deltager flest 8´ere – helt præcist 35 8´ere, hvilket er et ret imponerende syn. Derudover deltager der også inrigger og coastalbåde.

I samarbejde med GreenMobility og DriveNow har NPV A/S etableret otte parkeringspladser til bæredygtige delebiler på Engholmene. Bilerne holder allerede på parkeringspladserne, som er placeret ved Tømmergravsgade – der vil også blive etableret to ladestationer.

Det er dyrt at eje en bil. Ifølge bilorganisationen FDM’s beregning koster det ca. 70.550 kroner om året at eje en ny bil til en værdi af ca. 100.000 kroner, når brændstof, dæk, vedligehold, forsikring, afgifter, værditab og renter er regnet med. Såfremt du kører 30.000 kilometer om året.

Hvis du er træt af at betale udgifter til en bil, der står parkeret i garagen det meste af dagen, kan en delebil være løsningen for dig. NPV A/S har i samarbejde med GreenMobility og DriveNow etableret otte parkeringspladser til bæredygtige delebiler på Engholmene, som beboerne frit kan benytte.

For NPV A/S har det været vigtigt at sikre, at de populære delebilsordninger også var mulige på Engholmene, så alle kan komme hurtigt gennem byen uden at have problemer med parkering og hvad, der ellers følger af at have en privat bil.

”Vi har ønsket at bidrage til et bæredygtigt og fleksibelt alternativ til at eje en bil og samtidig bidrage til, at trængsels-, parkerings- og emissionsproblemer i byen reduceres. Derfor er vores beskedne bidrag at stille arealer til rådighed og etablere mulighed for opladning, så delebilerne er lettilgængelige for alle på Engholmene,” fortæller Anette Krarup, Udviklingsdirektør i NPV A/S.

Grønne delebiler uden faste udgifter
GreenMobility & DriveNow er to delebilskoncepter, som gør det nemt og grønt at køre bil i byen. Konceptet går ud på, at du kan tage en bil på gaden og køre hen, hvor du vil. Herefter kan du blot efterlade bilen på gaden – så længe det er indenfor zonen. Du skal altså ikke bekymre dig om at parkere bilen, hvor du tog den. Men hvis du gerne vil beholde bilen, du er kommet i, for at køre videre senere, er det også en mulighed.

Der er mulighed for at tegne forskellige abonnementer hos de to selskaber, men standardprisen er 4 kr./min. Alt, du skal gøre, er at downloade appen til GreenMobility eller DriveNow, der fungerer som nøglen til de elektriske bybiler.

Med de nye delebiler og metroudvidelsen har alle på Engholmene taget endnu et lille skridt videre på vejen mod bæredygtighed. Bilerne holder allerede parkeret på de otte parkeringspladser ved Tømmergravsgade, og er klar til at blive benyttet.

I søndags blev der afholdt Open Penthouse på Engholmene. Her kiggede en masse interesserede engholmere og udefrakommende forbi til et glas bobler og en unik rundtur i nogle af Engholmenes eksklusive penthouseboliger.

Engholmene udvikler sig konstant, og bydelen blomstrer i takt med, at byggeriet skrider frem. Det fik deltagerne til Open Penthouse mulighed for at opleve fra toppen af Engholmene. Her fik de mange deltagere et sjældent kig ind i nogle af byens smukke nye havneboliger og tilhørende tagterrasser.

Der var høj sol og blå himmel, og der var mødt mange mennesker op til søndagshygge på Engholmene. De kunne frit gå rundt og danne sig indtryk i de nyindrettede boliger. På de eksklusive tagterrasser kunne de med et glas bobler i hånden gå på opdagelse i de imponerende taghaver og nyde den flotte udsigt over havneløbet.

Udvalgte penthouseboliger og en tilhørende tagterrasse var møbleret af hhv. BoConcept og Scheel-Larsen. Sammen gav de deltagerne inspiration til, hvordan man kan skabe en hyggelig og funktionel bolig og taghave med nye tendenser inden for indretning, møbler og plantemiljø.

Alle fremmødte havde mulighed for at deltage i konkurrencen om et gavekort på 2500,- kr. til Scheel-Larsen (specialist i havemøbler).

Den heldige vinder blev Judith Brogaard Jacobsen, som kan se frem til at give sin grønne oase et ekstra pift.

Engholmene er inden for de næste år færdigudviklet, og udover at bestride titlen som Københavns nye kanalby, vil Engholmene fungere som den sidste og afgørende brik i det puslespil, der skal skabe den naturlige overgang mellem Havneholmen på Vesterbro og det nye Sydhavn.

Med sine kanaler, broer og promenader er Engholmene en bydel, der har mange af de samme kvaliteter, som man finder på Christianshavn. På trods af Engholmene ikke har sin egen fristad og ligger et par kilometer længere væk fra Rådhuspladsen, er der mange ligheder mellem det eftertragtede Christianshavn og Københavns nye Kanalby. Og netop de sammenlignelige proportioner har gjort, at man fra starten har sigtet efter at ramme den stemning, som er på Christianshavn.

”Vores mål med Engholmene er at skabe en bydel, som bliver integreret i forhold til resten af København, og som har kvaliteter fra alle sider af bylivet. Engholmene har en unik placering, som gør det naturligt, at vandet og det blå byliv bliver en vigtig aktør. Men samtidig ligger det sig også op af resten af København i forhold til Vesterbro og Kødbyen”, siger Anette Krarup, Udviklingsdirektør hos NPV. Hun understreger, at det siden begyndelsen har været et centralt element i udviklingsarbejdet at skabe et område, som vil danne de bedste rammer til at få bydelen integreret i forhold til resten af København.

Engholmene bliver epicenter for det blå byliv
Foruden seks øer med nyskabende arkitektegnede boliger bliver der på øerne opført en pallette af udeophold, hvor beboere og besøgende kan betragte og nyde det blå byliv. Derudover kommer der en række promenader rundt om øerne, som ikke har været praktiseret tidligere, hvis man ser på de allerede eksisterende kanalbyer.

”Promenaderne rundt om øerne vil give mulighed for, at man kan opleve byggerierne og det blå byliv på tæt hold. Derudover vil der blive opført to havne. Én i den nordlige del og en i den sydlige del, som begge vil bidrage med tonerne fra det klassiske havnemiljø”, siger Anette Krarup. Netop disse initiativer spiller en afgørende rolle i missionen om at integrere bydelen i resten af København, ligesom havnebussen, moderne gang- og cykelstier og to nye metrostationer vil skabe en naturlig forbindelse bydelene imellem.

Opførelsen af Engholmene skrider planmæssigt fremad, hvilket manifesterer sig ved, at der indtil videre er flyttet i omegnen af 1.000 mennesker ind på Kærholm og Myrholm. Det tal forventes af stige betragteligt, når de første flytter ind på Lyngholm i juli måned. De sidste tre bolig-øer vil blive færdiggjort løbende, og i 2021 forventes boligerne at stå færdige.

I juli måned flytter de første engholmere ind på Lyngholm. I bedste Tour de Chambre-stil fik kommende beboere og nysgerrige udefrakommende mulighed for at se, hvordan de færdigudviklede lejligheder på Lyngholm kommer til at tage sig ud.

Lyngholm er den tredje af seks boligøer på Engholmene, som bliver klar til indflytning. I juli måned flytter de første ind i deres drømmebolig på Lyngholm, som består af 190 attraktive og moderne lejligheder.

Blandt de fremmødte til Tour de Chambre var både familier som allerede havde sikret sig en bolig i Lyngholm, engholmere fra de andre boligøer samt nysgerrige udefrakommende, som gerne ville opleve Københavns nye kanalby på tættere hold. Fælles for dem alle var, at de endnu ikke havde set boligerne på Lyngholm. Nysgerrigheden var derfor tydelig at spore hos de over 150 mennesker, som var mødt op på havnefronten foran Lyngholm til åbent hus-arrangementet. Her var fire lejligheder blevet åbnet op for de fremmødte, som de frit kunne pendle imellem. På kajen var der opstillet en isbil og en kaffevogn, som sørgede for at forsyne de fremmødte – på samme måde som ejendomsmæglere, arkitekter, indretningskonsulenter og repræsentanter fra NPV stod klar til at svare på spørgsmål fra de mange nysgerrige deltagere.

På første sal i lejligheden med altan direkte ud til havnefronten stod Birgitte Vosper fra Busy Bee. Hun er indretningskonsulent, og er kvinden bag indretningen af prøveboligerne på Lyngholm. Deltagerne var meget interesseret i hende. Særligt fik hun mange spørgsmål om, hvordan man sætter et personligt præg på en nyopført lejlighed, hvor det hvide og minimalistiske udtryk dominerer.

”Når man flytter ind i et nybyggeri med rene linjer og hvide vægge, kan det godt være svært at sætte et personligt præg på sit nye hjem. Min klare anbefaling til dem som skal flytte ind i Lyngholm er at bruge farver på væggene, og sætte nogle gardiner op som afspejler dem. Generelt tror jeg, at danskerne som nation er ved at være trætte at hvidt på hvidt. Det kan også ses i boligmagasinerne, hvor der er kommet mere farve på væggene,” fortæller Birgitte Vosper.

”Vi boede i en villa på +200 kvadratmeter i Vanløse. Men efter vores datter flyttede hjemmefra, havde vi alt for meget plads. Derfor var det en god mulighed for at prøve noget nyt – inden vi blev for gamle og skulle mades. Generelt var hele aspektet med at starte på en frisk rigtig tiltalende for os. Vi trængte til at få noget luftforandring med nye naboer og nye omgivelser.
Grunden til at vi valgte lejligheden i Lyngholm var, at vi faldt for hele miljøet på Engholmene. Den fantastiske beliggenhed med vandet og alle dets muligheder samt den korte afstand til centrum”.

Et andet par som også var ude og se deres kommende lejlighed, var Cecilie Andersen og Andreas Jørgensen. De har valgt at flytte fra Århus til København. I dagens anledning havde de taget deres forældre med, som også var spændte på at se deres børns kommende bolig.

”Årsagen til, at vi har valgt at flytte fra Århus til København er, at Andreas har fået arbejde i København, og at jeg har fået en praktikplads.
I Århus bor vi i et nybyggeri, og det vil vi gerne fortsætte med. Derfor var det et af kriterierne til vores kommende bolig. Måden vi fandt frem til Lyngholm var, at vi søgte på ”nybyggeri i København”, hvor Lyngholm så dukkede op.
Som alle andre har vi ikke rigtig set vores lejlighed endnu, men det som var med til at overbevise os omkring Lyngholm, var hele miljøet herude. Vi blev meget betaget af vandet kombineret med den tætte beliggenhed til centrum. Vi er glade for naturen, og vi ville ikke bo midt inde i byen med larmen fra trafikken”.

I modsætning til de to andre par har Sara Kalhor endnu ikke købt lejlighed i Lyngholm. Hun bor på nuværende tidspunkt i indre by, men har længe kendt til Engholmene og alle områdets muligheder. Hun var derfor ude for at snuse lidt til miljøet.

På en solbeskinnet søndag blev der afholdt Tour de Chambre på Lyngholm, hvor kommende beboere og nysgerrige udefrakommende for første gang kunne få et glimt af lejlighederne på Lyngholm.

Der var stor interesse for at være med på årets første kajak-dag på Kærholms sydside i den nye bydel på Københavns havnefront. Her kom Thomas Uhrskov forbi, og delte ud af sine erfaringer.

”Jeg elsker vandet. Faktisk elsker jeg det så meget, at jeg tre gange om ugen står op klokken fem om morgenen for at ro. Det har jeg gjort i mange år. Og jeg er ikke i tvivl om, at I vil finde samme glæde ved vandet,” siger den kendte tv-vært, som både har forelsket sig i roning og ski.

”I er utrolig privilegerede. I har vandet lige i jeres baghave,” siger Thomas Uhrskov og byder velkommen til årets første kajak-dag på Engholmene.

Omkring ham står 40-50 fremmødte, som vil være med til at prøve kræfter med at ro kajak i Københavns havn. Blandt de fremmødte var mange lokale, og der hyggesnakkes mellem naboer og kommende beboere.

Nogle af dem, som er trukket i regntøjet og er cyklet til Enghave Brygge, er familien Holm. De har købt et af de 43 unikke byhuse på Sivholm, og har i dag valgt at bruge deres søndag på at sejle i kajak og møde deres kommende naboer.

”Vi hørte om kajak-dagen gennem nyhedsbrevet på mailen, og vi synes, det kunne være sjovt at komme her ud og opleve stedet og alle de mennesker, som bor her allerede. Vi glæder os rigtig meget til at flytte ind i Sivholm, og vi tænkte, at i dag også var en god mulighed for at komme ud og se, hvordan det går med udviklingen”, siger Lene Holm.

Fællesskab på vandet
”Er i klar til at komme i vandet?” spørger Thomas Uhrskov, og folk stimler sammen for at komme ud på vandet.

Den lokale kajakklub Kayak Republic er med, og har sørget for kajakker til deltagerne, som i selskab med instruktørerne prøver kræfter med den populære motionsform, der hver dag trækker hundredevis af københavnere ud på vandet langs inderhavnen.

Kajakroning er blevet en af byens mest populære sportsgrene, og flere klubber oplever stor interesse blandt nye medlemmer.

Men det er ikke alle de fremmødte, der er kommet for kajakkerne. Foruden muligheden for at ro kajak ligger en GoBoat fortøjet, som tager de deltagere, der ikke vil en tur i kajakken med ud på vandet. Her fra får de mulighed for at betragte familiemedlemmerne i kajakken. Og så er det bestemt her, der bliver lejlighed til at lære naboerne bedre at kende. Om bord på båden bliver der diskuteret alt fra byggeprojekter til den lokale Gin & Tonic-klub. Nedenfor ses et uddrag af billeder fra kajak-dagen.

Det første hold engholmere gjorde sig klar til at komme i kajakkerne. For de deltagere som måtte vente på, at det blev deres tur, var der forfriskninger på havnekanten. Her var både kaffevogn, kolde drikke og kage.

Her vil han i samarbejde med en professionel instruktør, introducere nysgerrige engholmere med kajakambitioner til den populære motionsform.

Med Engholmenes kanalsystemer og placering som nabo til Københavns Havn, har engholmerne en unik tilgængelighed til vandet – noget som de fleste kun kan drømme om. Kajakroning er en motionsform, som særligt de senere år er vundet frem, hvilket man også har kunne bemærke i byens havne og kanaler. Nøglen skal findes i koblingen af en sjov måde af brænde kalorier af og den alternativ måde at se byen og naturen på.

Hvis du er en af dem, som på en af dine utallige gåture langs molen, misundelsesværdigt har kunnet se letsindige kajakroere ro forbi dig i havnen, er der godt nyt. Søndag den 26. maj fra kl. 13-15 afholdes der store ”Kajak-dag”, hvor du kan komme ned og snuse til, hvordan man sejler kajak i Københavns Havn. Ved kyndig vejledning fra Thomas Uhrskov og en professionel kajakinstruktør vil de sammen give alle interesserede et indblik i, hvordan man får god motion og fantastiske oplevelser i Københavns Havn.  

Thomas Uhrskov er kendt fra diverse Tv-programmer, hvor han med sin store erfaring indenfor særligt skisporten underholder og guider danskerne til de bedste destinationer, udstyr og teknik. Han har selv roet i mange, og ser frem til at dele ud af sine erfaringer.

Programmet for dagen lyder som følger – søndag den 26. maj fra kl. 13.00-15.00
Mødested: kajapontonen på Kærholms sydside.

• Oplæg ved Thomas Urskov hvor han fortæller om sine erfaringer med kajakroning.
• Thomas Uhrskov fortæller om kajakroning som motionsform.
• Thomas Uhrskov demonstrerer sammen med instruktøren, hvordan man håndterer kajakken.
• Engholmerne bliver inviteret til at prøve kræfter med kajakken under ledsagelse af en professionel instruktør.
• Sidst på dagen vil der blandt deltagerne blive trukket lod om et kajakkursus hos Kayak Republic.

Efterfølgende vil der være kaffe og kage samt mulighed for at reflektere over dagens oplevelser i selskab med jeres naboer. Vi håber at se så mange som muligt til ”Kajakdag” på Engholmene.
